    crazy about American Play Series

I still remember the first American Series that I was addicted to. <<Detective Hunter>> told me what American Series was. That cool guy, Detective Hunter, had fatanstic driving skills, unbelievable acute judgement and a great sensor of humour. He might probably have no idea, that we Chinese regarded him as something. That was my first impression of the american series. <<Growing Pains>>, just like its name, accompanyed my growing filled with laughing, learning, crying. I'd never forget that series.

Then those spectacular disappeared for a long time. We were killing our time by Hongkong and Taiwan Series, by "Qing" dynasty. Maybe lately we are immersed in Japanese Series and Korean Series. I have no prejudice to them. Some of them are beautiful stories and really not bad. But in point of my view, I'm not so enthusiastic about them. American Series is  more deeply memorized in my mind.

One big series saves us. I think almost all of the fans would put it on the first place--<<Friends>>. I don't wanna make much comment on it, 'cause it's so great and classic. It vividly presents the american culture behind the funny actor's lines. <<Friends>> is the one, that you could watch 1000 times but never feel sick of it.

What are the fans watching now after the <<Friends>>? Well, I know how many fans in Motherland are crazy about <<Prison Break>>. That's pop in China, I confess. But in the USA <<CSI>> drew more people's attention in the last several seasons. Unfortunately I'm neither the fan of "PB", nor of "CSI". I began my series journey with <<Lost>> on the recommendation of Zhanglei, which concerns about mystery, belief, destiny, psychology ...... I'm really really happy to meet <<Grey's Anatomy>> for the "lost" days of <<Lost>>. "GA" is not the substitution but the discovery, which tells me the truth of life, the attitude to life, the philosophy of life and the emotion of life. It's just like a fresh wind blowing from the nature, leaving me away from violence, crime and war. At present "GA" beats "CSI" as the champion of audience rating on Thursday evening.  I do love that series. <<The Apprentice>>  shows us another view of the society, where life is full of competition. "Apprentice" is not a story, but a true interview or something. I look on it as novelty and creative. Compared with it, the pop show "Super girls" in China is just nothing.
I think I will be always on the track to American Seires. Just enjoy it :)

    speed up

Quotes from Grey's Anatomy Season 2:

Meredith Grey: A couple of hundred years ago, Benjamin Franklin shared with the world the secret of his success. Never leave that till tomorrow, he said, which you can do today. This is the man who discovered electricity. You think more people would listen to what he had to say. I don't know why we put things off, but if I had to guess, I'd have to say it has a lot to do with fear. Fear of failure, fear of rejection, sometimes the fear is just of making a decision, because what if you're wrong? What if you're making a mistake you can't undo? The early bird catches the worm. A stitch in time saves nine. He who hesitates is lost. We can't pretend we hadn't been told. We've all heard the proverbs, heard the philosophers, heard our grandparents warning us about wasted time, heard the damn poets urging us to seize the day. Still sometimes we have to see for ourselves. We have to make our own mistakes. We have to learn our own lessons. We have to sweep today's possibility under tomorrow's rug until we can't anymore. Until we finally understand for ourselves what Benjamin Franklin really meant. That knowing is better than wondering, that waking is better than sleeping, and even the biggest failure, even the worst, beat the hell out of never trying.
